Her law practice caters to individuals with legal issues related to life transitions and caters to individuals who understand how important it is resolve legal issues that threaten the security of their family, home, and business. Her knowledge and experience from serving as both judge and attorney gives her a unique perspective that enables her to project the end result and frame issues from early on. This alleviates time and emotional and financial toil that legal issues create for people when they are in the midst of turmoil such as divorce, illness, or when they are facing an age or family related legal issue.
Linda graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Mass Communications and Political Science. She attended Stetson Law school and was on Law Review She was recruited by one of Central Florida premier law firms, Gray, Harris, and Robinson in 1985 and worked in their Municipal Securities, Health Care and Employment law departments.
In 1989, she was one of the first women in Central Florida to begin her own law practice.
Over the next twenty years, she became a Board Certified Marital Law attorney, a Supreme Court appointed Mediator, a trained collaborative practitioner, and one of the most successful women attorneys in the Central Florida area. She was elected Circuit Judge for the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit in 2010 and served on the family, civil, probate, juvenile and dependency benches.
Since that time, she has written two best selling books, Divorce Made Simple, The Ultimate Guide and a memoir, An Illusion of Normal.
